KazEOSat-1:

First spacecraft of Kazakhstan KazEOSat-1 was launched on 30* of April 2014 from
Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana.

High resolutions spacecraft (hereinafter – HR) has the following characteristics:

  • Active lifetime period: 7 years.
  • Spatial resolution in multispectral mode: 1 m.
  • Number of multispectral channels: 4 m.
  • Revisit Period: 3-5 days.
  • Mass: 820 Kg.
  • Swath: not less than 20 Km.

  • Image Size: 400 Sq.Km
  • Imaging capabilities of ERS Satellite per 24 hours 220 000 square km.

KazEOSat-2:

The second ERS spacecraft «KazEOSat-2» with medium spatial resolution 6.5 m was

launched on 20* of June 2014 from the Russian “Yasniy” cosmodrome. The main characteristics of the ERS SS RK spacecraft of optical and electronic equipment of medium resolution (hereinafter -MR) KazEOSat-2:

 

  • Active lifetime period: 7 Years.
  • Spatial resolution in multispectral mode: 6.5 m.
  • Number of multispectral channel: 5.
  • Revisit Period: 3-5 days.
  • Swath, not less than: 77 km.
  • Image Size: 5900 Sq.Km
  • Mass: 180 kg.
  • Frequency of imaging of whole territory of Kazakhstan: 24-30 hours.

 

BKA:

The Belarusian Spacecraft (BKA) was manufacturedby enterprises of Russia and Belarus and launched into orbit by «Sojuz-FG» launch vehicle from the «Baikonur» Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on July 22, 2012. The BKA was declared operational in December, 2013.

  • Active lifetime period: Over 5 years.
  • Spatial resolution in multispectral mode: 0.5 m.
  • Number of multispectral channel: 4.
  • Mass: 474 kg.
  • Swath: not less than 20 km.
